Our Full Service Design Package starts with a Design Discovery Consultation to assess your project goals and needs. We will discuss your project scope and vision and any concerns you may have. We manage every detail from Concept to Final Installation for any size project; whether it be a single room or an entire home make-over. We will either recommend a general contractor for you to work with or work with one you have already chosen. It is our job to contribute to the overall design alongside your contractor. A construction agreement is executed directly between you and your contractor and we oversee all design related elements on your project. This Service is ideal for an entire Kitchen or Bathroom Renovation or for large scale renovations. No detail is left unnoticed. Our fee is calculated based on a Flat Fee basis.
If you’ve just completed a new build or a full scale renovation and all you need is new furniture and accessories to complete your home then our Interior Decorating Service is for you. At Island Home Interiors we provide a fully curated design scheme with pieces you’ll love. This Service will give you the perfect combination of style, comfort and functionality to bring your new home to life! Our fee is calculated at cost per square foot.
Process
Design
STEP 1: DESIGN CONSULTATION
Schedule your Consultation. Through an in person meeting, video conference, or phone call we will asses the scope & design needs of your project. You will need to fill out the E-Design Services Agreement & Life Style Questionnaire prior to our meeting so that we understand your design needs and how you live in your space. We will establish a clear vision of your style, budget and timeline and we will discuss our Contract and Project Commencement.
Design Consultation fee (2 hours)-$150
STEP 2: THE DESIGN + PRESENTATION PHASE
During this phase, we will take all site measurements and details and present you with a personalized design plan for your home. This comprehensive plan will include a fully customized Space Plan reflecting the new concept and furniture layout. We will select all flooring & surface materials, paint swatches, fabric swatches, millwork/ cabinet details and Furniture and Accessory pieces. We will translate the findings from our consultation into a complete design from start to finish. This process can last several weeks and culminates a full design presentation, complete with a digital presentation of Furniture and samples to touch and feel.
STEP 3: PURCHASING + INSTALLATION
This is the life changing phase! After the approval of the design phase, we turn your vision into a reality. We begin this phase of the project by purchasing and ordering all of the furniture, finishes and fixtures.We co-ordinate the installations to be sure your project stays on time and within your established budget. We order and deliver all your personalized Furniture selections to our receiving warehouse over the coming months. Then we have our install day with white glove delivery! We take over your home to complete our full-service installation process and this allows you to sit back and relax while we bring your magazine worthy-home together.
